The fountain festival in the Borghorst district traditionally opens the market season in Steinfurt. Every year, it attracts numerous visitors to the town center and, with many market traders, open retail sales and a large flea market, offers a large portfolio for browsing and bargain shopping.

It will be "kunSTvoll" in the historic town center of Burgsteinfurt at the beginning of May. Artists, cultural workers and craftspeople have the opportunity to exhibit their exhibits and products and offer them to visitors.

The pig market starts on Friday with a musical treat before Saturday is dedicated to the market. On Saturday evening, there is traditionally a big open-air party with live music. On Sunday, all visitors can look forward to open retail sales, traders' stands and a flea market.

The harvest market in Burgsteinfurt's historic town center begins with a solemn ecumenical service and the erection of the harvest crown by the Kötter family. Afterwards, the colorful hustle and bustle begins in the streets, with over 70 merchant stalls and Sunday shopping!
